Operational - liminal spaces of radical transformation, simultaneously ominous and comforting. They are places of rehabilitation and fragmentation, of amputation and dissection. These hospital rooms are said to be haunted by trickster elves who play tricks and mix scenarios to offer psychotherapeutic experiences that mimic the intensity of psychedelics. They do this by manipulating representational excesses in a hospital environment devoid of poisonously sterile power and acute control. It’s a strange place where the lines between life and death. It is a place of healing, transmutation and liberation.
